This assignment asks you to apply one topic from the course to attempt to solve a specific problem that exists in an organization. The problem should center on either a job performance issue or an organizational commitment issue. The paper should be 4 (reduced from 6) pages of content double-spaced (not counting the cover page and reference page). Do not use first-person writing.

 

Guidelines

Select an ethical dilemma/problem faced by an organization within the past five years. Develop a paper (4 pages of content reduced from 6, double-spaced, 12 pt, not including cover page, abstract, and reference page) that includes the following:

 

Define the ethical dilemma faced by the organization;

Provide an explanation of how the dilemma has developed or changed over time;

Identify relevant stakeholders affected by the ethical dilemma faced by the organization;

Identify the appropriate ethical framework to address alternatives used for decision making;

Identify key decisions to be made regarding the ethical dilemma faced by the organization;

Prioritize relevant stakeholder needs affected by the ethical dilemma faced by the organization;

Articulate a plan for addressing the ethical dilemma;

Demonstrate an understanding of the motives and consequences of the action.
