Chapters 7 and 8 of the textbook, by Gordis (2014), discuss randomized trials. I highly recommend reading the chapters more than once to gain an understanding of the material! While we do not have an assignment this week, this material will be covered in the quiz in week 4! Below are two videos which discuss randomized trials. Using the material from the textbook and the videos, answer the following questions:
1) What are the distinguishing factors of a randomized trial?
2) Why are randomized trials considered the "gold standard" of study designs?
