1. Describe in your own words the work, including the medium, subject matter, date of production, and the creator. What is happening in the painting/building/performance? Briefly describe the creator's style based on his or her larger body of work. (The creator refers to the painter of a painting, the architect of a building, or the writer or director of a play.)

2. What major political, social, or historical movements were happening during its creation? How is/was that reflected in the work? 

3. How did most viewers perceive the work when it was produced? How do audiences in 2019 see it? To what extent has technology affected the creation, acquisition, and distribution of the work? To what extent is it accessible to audiences in 2019? 

4. How does the work reveal or contribute to the larger understanding of myth, happiness, morality, love, freedom or religion as described in the textbook? (You should devote the most time and thought to this question, fusing examples from your worth with the textbook's theories.)
