For your second paper, please select one of the following 3 topics and answer the questions in detail as outlined below. Please remember that the second paper must consist of a cover page, 4 full pages, and a reference page at minimum. Please meet the other general requirements as stated above in regard to APA style. You must use at least 3 scholarly sources outside of the required readings to supplement your paper.

Topic

1. Social psychologists have found that one method of reducing discrimination between diverse groups is to join members from diverse groups into task-focused teams with a common goal. Unfortunately, there are few social institutions devoted to desegregation in our society today. Using the Internet or your library’s search engines, evaluate the evidence that suggests that public schools are more highly segregated today than they were ten years ago. What steps would you take to develop social institutions that would increase social interactions between races and ethnicities? How effective do you think these efforts would be in helping to erode prejudice and bias? Be sure to use multiple examples to support your ideas as well as scholarly research. Be sure to also meet the criteria as outlined above for your second paper.
