Requirements: At least three scholarly sources, at least three non-scholarly sources, and at least 160 words of annotation for each source in APA format.

You will be creating an annotated bibliography on a topic related to the natural sciences. Choose a research topic and create research questions; make sure your topic and questions are narrow and focused. Do not, for instance, research global warming; instead, research the melting of Greenland glaciers or sea level rise in the eastern United States or shifting weather patterns inSoutheast Asia.

Once you have found a topic and created research questions, start looking for research. At least three of your sources must be from academic, scholarly science journals on your topic. At least three of your sources must be from layperson, non-academic, non-scholarly magazines (including magazine-like websites). You may not use books, newspapers, or any source other than academic journals, magazines, and magazine-like webpages.

After you have found your sources, create an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography provides a works cited entry for each research source as well as a paragraph on each research source. The paragraphs summarize, analyze, and compare the sources. Your summary, analysis, and comparison should focus on the following four elements of your sources: use of logos,use of pathos, construction of ethos, and the intended audience (including the context and purpose of the source).

You will need a title page, an abstract, and your annotated bibliography. You will not need an essay or references page.
