In Ch. 1 of the e-textbook, we learned that the importance of developing a treatment plan is critical to understanding the needs of the patient. The foundation of an effective treatment plan is the primary source that the substance abuse counselor can use to prevent potential negative factors from impeding client outcomes.

For this assignment, students will review to Ch. 1. Use well-organized paragraphs and in your own words, explain the formal treatment plan process. You must upload via the drop box provided, in a composition format, double-spaced, using a minimum 2 full pages; with a maximum of 3 pages.
