A primary responsibility of a tered Nurse is to collaborate and communicate effectively on a team. Supervision, conflict resolution, care coordination and hand-offs in client care, are essential skills for the tered Nurse. It is important for the tered Nurse to adapt communication style to the needs of the team and the situation.

Post an example of your experience(s) with conflict resolution:

  • Describe a situation when you either observed a conflict or were involved in a conflict.  Describe the outcome of the conflict. Using your readings identify the conflict resolution utilizing each aspect of conflict resolution style. Apply a different conflict resolution to the situation using your readings for an improved outcome.

This can either be from a healthcare perspective, or in your everyday life.
