Summary Direct information technology systems and strategies by performing the following duties. Identify technology solutions to meet business needs. Identify the technological needs of the organization. Direct continuous review of present systems and methods. Examine new systems and methods that may better meet business Determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. Incorporate technology solutions. Throughout the remainder of the cohort, students will be working on phases of a comprehensive term project that utilizes concepts and material from each of the following courses: Recruitment, Selection and Placement of HR, Training, Development and Employee Relations and Compensation and Benefits Administration. The following are the specific instructions and deliverables:

Phase I: The task for this phase is to develop a performance management plan for these jobs or groups of jobs. Summary:Develops and implements the strategic online marketing plans. Stays abreast of changes in the online marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the company and adjusts plans accordingly. Responsible for overseeing other aspects of the e-commerce site such as advertising and content components.

Manage all site development and online information: 50%

· Direct internet strategy and manage overall e-commerce site presence and effectiveness.

· Develop plans for enhancing e-commerce site and present recommendations to marketing director and senior executives.

· Support specific business objectives and enforce the company’s brand image online.

· Design and set standards for the look-and-feel of the entire site.

· Oversee all web development, testing/proofing, publishing, and archiving.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.

· A combination of marketing and web development experience equal to 5 years i.e., 4 years marketing, 1 year web development or 3 years marketing, 2 years web development, etc.

· 3-5 years of project management experience.

· Knowledge of consumer electronics, appliances, flooring and furniture preferred.

· Experience with HTML authoring tools, FTP software, Photoshop, Web reporting, VPN, SSL Certificates

· Video editing and photography knowledge a plus

Computer Skills:

· Knowledge of internet software: analytics software, SEM tools, site search tools.

· Knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

· Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
