Current Event Week 5    

 

This week we are studying Southwest Asia and North Africa. A prominent legal system in this area is Sharia Law. Please find an article that covers this topic. Please critique the article and discuss if this system is compatible with western Europe and North America's culture.

You will have a Current Event assignment this week. Your review of the Current Event should be submitted as a Word document attached to the Current Event assignment tool. Your total write up and explanation should be approximately 300 words. Each current event posting should include the following:

 1. Give the reference where you obtained the current event article.

 2. Give a brief review of the article as it was written by the author.

 3. Give your creative ideas on how this current event ties into the material we are covering in class this week. Please refer to your syllabus for the due date of this assignment.
