Vision Board for Our Communal Future

Vision Board for Our Communal Future
Shortly before the 2020 presidential election, visionary prison activist Mariame Kaba posted the following on social media:
Anxiety is off the charts for so many...
I'm wondering if some of you might want to engage in a little project with me. Over the next two weeks, make a... communal vision board. It can be a written reflection, it can be visual art, it can be music/song. Articulate a communal vision of [our future] world. Perhaps this is an activity you can engage in with your family, friends, roommates, work colleagues. Visioning and dreaming are important...
The thing about this vision board is that instead of focusing on your personal goals and intentions, set communal goals. What would you like to see us all focus on in the coming weeks, months and years. What should our intentions be?
As for this assignment, the guidelines are simply what Kaba suggests above: "It can be a written reflection, it can be visual art, it can be music/song. Articulate a communal vision" of what you think the future should be. Pay attention, however, to this caveat: "The thing about this vision board is that instead of focusing on your personal goals and intentions, set communal goals. What would you like to see us all focus on in the coming weeks, months and years?" Your job is to articulate what you want our communal future to be.
Use whatever creative, multimedia tools you are most comfortable with: video, photography, computer program or website design, visual art (painting, collage, poster board), or a two or three page written reflection.
Note: While you have the option for your vision board to be a collage, any collages must to be constructed from elements taken from a variety of sources (not just one, two, or three); you are required to "make" the vision board
I'll provide examples to get you thinking on this subject in the modules between now and the due date.
Along with your Vision Board, please include a one-paragraph introduction to your Board--providing whatever context or explanation is needed for us to understand it.
