Case Analysis

· Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has asked you to develop a prototype bus driver scheduling system. This prototype system will manage 30 routes, 100 buses and 250 bus drivers. Using the system, CTA Operations Managers first allocate each bus to one of the predetermined routes. They then enter driver assignments each week. In other word, each bus is assigned to a route (with the route schedule) and a driver. Bus drivers have access to the system to check their assignments. CTA HR Managers and Operations managers obtain from the system the actual work hours of bus drivers.
