Discussion Forum 9: Paris

In Discussion Forum 9, post your response to the following discussion assignment. Reply to at least two classmates’ responses by the date indicated in the course Calendar.

• Discuss how Paris acted as the incubator of most of what we call Impressionists/Post-Impressionist modern art. What artists worked there? What was their work like and how did they influence each other? What do you think it would have been like to be an artist in Paris at that time?

• Once you have completed your posting, choose at leastone other posting from another student and review and respond to his or her answer.
