Theatre And Psychology

Introduction:

Theater is a form of art with many misconceptions surrounding it. Some people believe that it is a “dying form of art” meant to be exclusively for fun. Others say that if you are majoring in theater you are disillusioned about your future and you are not going to be able to make a living out of it. However, studies prove that it is more than just a form of entertainment. Theater promotes the development of socio-cognitive complexity, emotions and self-concept and it affects different age groups. Therefore, it should be taken more seriously. It should have more recognition, not only in our daily life, but also in the education system as opposed to being just an elective class. This paper focused on psychological, such as socio-cognitive complexity, and emotional effects that theater has on people. I found three studies which I will attached below. I just need the Abstract (1 summary with RQ/Thesis/Hypothesis. 250 words max). Literature Review (1 Paragraph summary of study per study+Who/What/How/Results). Discussion (1 Paragraph criticizing the studies) Conclusion and Future Studies + Summary
