The Assignment:

Draw the DFDs (Context and level 0) for a Food Ordering System in a restaurant. The Food Ordering System works as follows:

Customer places their orders.

Orders are forwarded to the kitchen for delivery.

Restaurant Manger got informed about the order detail, a report is sent to the manager.

A receipt is given to the customer.

Assume 3 to 4 inner processes in the Food Ordering System for updating the inventory and order related information.

To hold the data use data stores also.

Purposes:

Ensure that you can analyze existing manual system and can draw Data Flow Diagrams of any proposed system.

Before Starting:

Detail study of existing system. Rules for drawing DFDS. Differentiate between different levels of DFDS.
