If I draw a graph of the distribution of income in the US, that graph will be skewed to the right. It is not normal because of outliers who have incomes much higher than most US citizens
Think of a study (univariate- be careful not to describe a study with two variables- that comes up later in the course) that might result in the collection of data that is:
(a) skewed to the left.
(b) bimodal
(c) uniform
For each, what would be the relationship between the mean and the median.
