Identify The Initiative

Now that you have identified the initiative you are going to analyze and met with the leader(s) involved, take a moment to pause. Before moving forward, try to answer the questions below for yourself to help you identify potential gaps either in your knowledge or in the overarching process:

? Is the vision behind the initiative clear to you? If it is not clear to you, who can you connect with to determine their clarity of the vision?

? In your initial review, how does the leadership style align with the vision and support needed from the stakeholders?

? What research will you need to find to support or bolster the leadership style of those working directly with others during the initiative?

? Now that you have considered these salient points, please share the areas you are most concerned about in regard to finding the resources you need to address each question. In addition to the guidance you will receive from your faculty here at South, where else can you find support?
