- Imagine you were to give a lecture on important ideas and movements the Long Late Nineteenth Century (1870-1914) and could use only 8 images/artifacts to highlight your message. What images would you choose and why? (Remember one image can illustrate more than 1 idea or movement)

- The 1920s saw the rise of authoritarian regimes in Italy and Russia (think Mussolini and Lenin). What appeal did they have in common and how were they different?
