You may respond to any answer or any response posted by another student. You may respond to an answer that has already received a response or multiple responses.* You must do your posting on two different days at least; do NOT post all your answers and comments on the same day. If the semester starts on Monday, you may want to post a message introducing yourself on Monday or Tuesday. Then, you may want to post your answer for DQ 1 on Thursday, your answer for DQ 2 on Friday, and your response to a classmate's answer, also on Friday. But ALL your messages, answers, and comments, including your introduction, must be posted by the DEADLINES as per the Calendar. NO late posting.* Five points are deducted, if you don't post a response to a classmate's answer.II. UPLOADING/submitting a RESPONSE PAPER (RP) - AssignmentsAs per the Syllabus and Calendar, you must UPLOAD/submit a Response Paper (RP).All papers must be submitted via the Dropbox tool by the set deadline. All papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. Nearly all word processors have a "save as" function under the File Menu to allow saving documents as "Mircrosoft Word." If you have trouble, go to any Computer Commons on any Pima Community College Campus for assistance. Or, use your word processor's HELP Menu.Adjust your word processor's page setup for 1-inch margins for top, bottom, right and left. Set the font for Times New Roman 12; single spaced.Name the document using your last name and the number of this response paper separated by an underscore, e.g., "Smith_RP2.doc".REMINDER1.*** PRINT the Question of the DQ and RP 2. Write a FOCUSED and well organized essay without repetitions. I expect an answer that reflects an understanding of the QUESTION and of the READINGS. When writing your essay answer for the DQ and the RP, you MUST provide a FULL answer to the big question, and, to do that, you MUST answer ALL of the small/specific questions below the big question, in their ORDER.The small questions are just guidelines; The answers to the small questions must be connected with the big question. Correct answers to the small questions help you provide a full answer to the big question, in an organized essay and in a chronological order; They also ensure an essay which flows in a logical and comprehensive manner. You can use sentences and terms in the big question and in the small questions below it.Write DATES or century.Follow historical chronology of EVENTS .Do NOT copy sentences from the lectures, and just paste them. You must COMMENT on the facts.Do NOT write IRRELEVANT material.*** Following ALL the instructions and guidelines, AND answering ALL the small questions/statements, in their order, and in separate paragraphs, but as an ESSAY, will help you provide a FULL and COMPLETE answer. If you follow ALL the guidelines, you will be able to write a focused, SHORT, complete, MEANINGFUL and organized essay as an answer for ALL of your DQ and RP.3. NO double spacing; I print ALL your answers.*** IMPORTANT- It is NOT an intensive writing class. Some students wrote excellent essays of one page, for the RP and the DQ; NO more than a page and a half; I won’t read more than that. A short answer shows that you understood the question and the readings.- A student who copies from another student - even one sentence - will be punished as per the Syllabus, and Student Code of Conduct. Some students did copy in previous semesters. Do NOT do that!***Keep a copy of all your work on your own computer and a back-up disk! ***GradingBe sure to read the course Discussion Rubric. It is linked in the Syllabus module. See more details in "Guidelines for Writing an Essay."III. CONTRACT: Please, submit the CONTRACT.IV.
