It relates to its overall strategic goals and objectives by coming up with a new product that will generate revenue.We will take a 1973 Dodge Charger 605 CI Hemi and turn it into a modern high performance car. We will configure the body, interior, exterior, engine, transmission, and electrical.This car will have the convenience of today’s manufacture including the body and what it is made for. Its heavy metals will be replaced by lightweight carbon fiber to enhance fuel efficiency, ergonomics and safety.Consequently, we aim at reducing fuel cost, increasing revenue to the company and create job opportunities in this project.This project is aimed at creating a vision for tomorrow, to be on the edge of our competitors, and maintain the vision of our company which is to never become stagnant or comfortable.Various milestones are underway to ensure that the project is a success. They range from meeting up withal the key players taking part in the project, undertaking the project, to celebrating our accomplishments.Project DeliverablesThe project products include cars of the past made with the latest technology to generate revenue. A good example is the 1973 Dodge Charger 605 CI Hemi that we will transform into a high performance and modern vehicle.Project ObjectivesThe objective of the project is rebuilding the old model cars into high-performance, modern cars. Unlike the past, we aim at using light carbon fiber as part of our transformation.As part of our objective, we also aim at generating revenue to the company, reducing the cost of production and creating jobs.This will be done at total budgeted cost of $821,000.00Project AssumptionsWe assume that every milestone recorded will be met with a given end date to the project. The date may not be met because of the weather changes due to the season and geographical location.Project ConstraintsCertain limitations may hinder the success of the project. Such include:Time constraints dealing with the project release date in gathering all the necessary requirements.Abiding by automobile laws that restrict certain materials and chemicals.Zoning where the operations will take place.Process constraints – The equipment may not be compatible with actual model of the vehicle.Insurance coverage of the vehicle.Insurance coverage for employees.Insurance on the contract itselfLast but not least, the co-ordination and scheduling with SMEs.Exclusions and BoundariesThe following are the boundaries that will affect the running of the business in one-way or the other. They include:Meal coverageTransportationChild careLeave exceeding 3 consecutive daysUnexpected leaveHolidaysContractsPartsCertain types of paint/chemicalsNoise and speed limitationOthers may also include major risks, such as weather; Should there be severe weather, we will have a VPN set up for staff to work from home when it comes to the software development aspect of the project, injury; there will be proxy staff on stand-by that will be updated as project moves forward should they have to replace an injured employee, accidents; appraisers are contracted with the company as well as Insurance, as well as project going over budget in cases where there is a reserve of funds incase budget is exceeded.Disgruntle employee; disciplinary action is in place as well as legal advice for employee and employers.Exceeding target time; target time was set to end before given time to complete project, this way there is “wiggle room” for this.Environmental risks are also noted.Acceptance Criteria Our customers will be able to monitor our project growth and success using the following checklist. The minimum success criteria will be the launch of our prototype without further customization stated in the agreement. Our checklist will be monitored by our QA team and the scrum meetings.
