Every family has its celebrations. In this discussion, you are asked to describe one of yours. In your discussion post, include the following information in paragraph form.

· What are you celebrating?

· Identify the occasion

· For approximately many generations has your family celebrated this occasion in this way?

· How did the celebration originate in your family?

· Religion

· National

· Another country - brought over by the first immigrants who arrived in America

· Society - friends or neighbors of another or similar heritage 

· Describe in as much detail as possible how you celebrate the occasion 

· The activities 

· The food - describe two of the dishes served in detail

· The clothing

· Anything else you want to share
