You are asked to present a general culture training for your city council. You have decided a PowerPoint® presentation would be most effective for this training, as it would allow you to demonstrate differences in cultures that could affect communication. Explain how understanding cultural differences will help community leaders be more successful in communication.

Your presentation must address the following questions:

What cultural differences of values and behaviors are most important to be aware of?

What basic communication concepts need to be understood to overcome communication obstacles?

How can a community leader use effective communication to handle cultural conflicts?

Speaker notes should be provided on each slide to expand on the topics presented in the slide.
