There are two types of surveillance for diseases of interest, which are active and passive. The disease you selected for the previous discussion (Malaria) is the disease you need to research for this project. Answer the following questions:

1. Does the disease I selected have active or passive surveillance systems in place and why?

2. What are the limitations of these surveillance systems?

3. What is the case definition for this disease? How might changing the case definition impact surveillance?

In a post of approximately 300 words answer the above questions. Again, resources from the CDC, WHO and the NU library are acceptable.

Since NU Library is not accessible to you, please use CDC and WHO. Include citations please. Plain text is fine. No formatting requirements. I should have posted this with the other discussion. I missed it. This is due tomorrow (Nov 27th). Please give this priority. Thank you in advance.
