The cognitive sciences are relatively new, but they've made a lot of progress in understanding how the brain works. Do you believe that one day, with a detailed enough description of what is happening in the brain (for example, if we had every last detail about the workings of neurons, synapses, etc.), there will be a completely physical explanation of how phenomena like thoughts and emotions are produced by the brain?
