Write a short philosophical essay on the following topic: What role should a philosophical attitude play in a life that is intelligently and morally lived? Explain what you mean by a "philosophical attitude" and then say why cultivating such an attitude is important. In developing your account, you must use arguments and ideas found in at least three of the readings from this section of the course (i.e., Murphy, and Plato’s dialogues Euthyphro, Apology, Crito). In drawing on Plato, it is not sufficient merely to mention a dialogue; rather, you should explain one of Socrates’ arguments and/or show how his actions manifest a philosophical attitude.
