 People all over the world looked at the United States as the land of opportunity and hope for a better future. They were pushed for various reasons from their home lands and pulled to the unknown that awaited them on the shores of America.After reading the New Colossus (1883), by Emma Lazarus, and the experiences of the Saranoff family and Adam Laboda, compare the similarities and differences in ideas and experiences of immigrants coming to the United States. Feel free to pull in additional primary source documents to support your answer.
