Which screenings are mandatory in your state? Please create a list with the grade and the screenings required. If they are not mandated, look at New Jersey or Nevada for examples of state mandates. You are the manager of the school health services in your district. Discuss how you would manage the conduct of the screenings while caring for the students.

Table 5.1 lists 10 focus areas that are national health objectives relevant for the health education role of the school nurse. Discuss one objective in each of the 10 areas. Name the focus area, the objective, and at least one intervention that could be used to meet that objective.
