When working as a Human Services Professional, it is always important to demonstrate appropriate cultural awareness, especially when working with individuals in crisis. With that in mind, it is essential that you evaluate the cultural factors and dynamics that need to be considered when developing your Crisis Support Plan. In a 2-page paper, written using proper spelling/grammar, address the following:

1. Describe the cultural differences between you and the client(s) in your crisis intervention scenario and explain how they may present challenges during crisis intervention.

2. How will you demonstrate cultural competence when supporting the client(s) in your crisis intervention scenario?

How will you ensure that respect is being conveyed through verbal and non-verbal exchanges throughout the crisis intervention process?
