1. In light of the recent security incident within the financial department of XYZ, the board has made the decision that the organization needs to attain security compliance. Because XYZ is an established business with existing processes and procedures, you and your peers have decided that SOC 2 Type II compliance would be the best choice for XYZ. However, you have been given a tip that one of the board members worked for an organization that was SANS complaint in the past, and was very happy with the results. 
   For this part of your project, write a proposal to pursue the SOC 2 Type II compliance. Please be sure that your proposal meets all the following requirements:
   • Explains the differences between SANS and SOC compliance
   • Provides rational as to why SOC 2 was chosen for XYZ Technologies.
   • Gives a timeline for when the project will begin and end, also including the major milestones along the way.
   • Your analysis should use professional tone and vocabulary, APA format, and proper spelling and grammar.
