RESEARCH PAPER: This is a 2-page long paper. 

The paper will be about one of the following companies: Amazon, Boeing, Costco, Facebook, Gillette, Hachette, J.C. Penney, McDonalds, Priceline, Schick, Virgin Atlantic, Wal-Mart.

Students will choose one of the following research questions:

1.  What are the main characteristics of the business model of the company of your choice?

2.  What are the main characteristics of the market structure of the industry of the company of your choice?

There are four steps in the paper project.

Week One: Select the company and define the research question.

Week Two: Identify an article in the media that speaks to the research question you are pursuing.

Week Three: Prepare a draft of the paper.

Week Four: Submit the final copy of the paper.
