In your own words, describe the processes of introjection, projective identification, and collusion. Include your assessment of when (in time) they occur, if they are conscious or unconscious processes, and how some may manifest in the adult years.

2. What is the article about? The article explains benefits of enhancing the therapeutic alliance. A study was performed to improve techniques.

3. What was the purpose of this research? The purpose was to evaluate whether the use of supportive techniques and improving working alliance in the initial sessions of short-term supportive--expressive (SE) psychodynamic psychotherapy results in a change in symptoms of patients with depressive disorder.

4. Findings/results of the study? The results from the study was no significant change in what they were trying to observe.

5. Any acknowledged strengths and/or weaknesses of the study? The strengths may reflect the importance of the alliance in the study.

6. Implications for practice, i.e. how will the results be used, and knowledge applied? The knowledge will be applied to show the change the study can have on life.
