Question 1:  Define and describe the different kinds of strategic alliances that businesses can take part in.

Question 2: We have talked about quite a few different cultural considerations in the course, especially in your case study.  If a German company entered into a strategic alliance with a Japanese company, what differences in cultures would need to be considered (you can use the Internet and also consider Hofstede's value dimensions from Chapter 3)?
