Question Description

Begin your third paper by choosing and analyzing an ethical situation which has been brought to the forefront in a recent case or event. The media is fraught with a regular flood of these issues within the criminal justice system. These dilemmas arise regularly in police agencies, courts and prisons.

For the paper due in module 6, you will write an introduction to the issue and a brief narrative of the case. You then need to think about who it involves, who it affects, the various models of ethics that may come into play to justify a decision (based upon your course notes and materials).

The paper will be 3-4 pages (750-1000 words), not including title page and references. Use the APA (7th ed) writing style, Arial 11-point, or Times New Roman 12-point font. One inch margins all around.

For this module (5), you will submit an annotated bibliography

upon which your paper is to be based. This will act as the foundation of your research and guide your paper. Annotated bibliographies also gather the reference materials and help summarize the articles, books, etc. you will be using in your case analysis.

in one MS Word document in APA format and place it in the appropriate assignment dropbox, using the naming convention: "doc", etc.

Compose your work in a .doc or .docx file type using a word processor (such as Microsoft Word, etc..) and save it frequently to your computer. For those assignments that are not written essays and require uploading images or PowerPoint slides, please follow uploading guidelines provided by your instructor.
