1. NEPA. Your readings this week discuss the foundation of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the role that it plays in guiding federal agency projects. Based on these readings, do you believe that NEPA regulations should be expanded to incorporate all projects, not just those with ties to the federal government? Explain in detail why you feel this way and provide substantive facts to support your thoughts. Additionally, be sure to address the economic ramifications of your decision. 
   Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Properly cite any references in APA format and respond to at least two of your classmates’ initial posts by Day 7.

Environmental Assessment (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS)

NEPA requires all projects that may adversely impact the environment to undergo the development of an EA or EIS. The initial scoping process is critical in determining how to proceed with a project. Do you think the scoping process entails too much research or does it not require enough?   Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your claims with examples from outside resources, and properly cite any references. (The Ashford Online Library is a good resource for outside scholarly resources.) Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts by Day 7.
