You cannot start a dissertation without selecting a topic of interest that will keep you focused for an extended period. You are to select two or three potential topics that you would like to pursue in your dissertation journey and, using the discussion area, share with your classmates those areas of interest.

After completing the necessary readings, discuss some of these cautions that you may have had to overcome over the past couple of years. What helped you make your continued progress to this point in your journey, and did the readings suggest any new options or maybe concerns that you must keep in mind when you begin your dissertation studies at the end of your program?
