The ultimate objective of every business is to satisfy the needs of its customers while also making a profit.  Businesses that understand their customers' needs and work to satisfy those needs are usually successful.  Sometimes, however, the needs are only at a certain time of the year and the businesses are considered "seasonal".    

Your assignment is to find and read an article from a credible, reliable source, about a company that depends on increased seasonal business.  This will be a company that depends on a certain time of the year for the bulk of its business, but typically needs to continue to operate throughout the year to survive.  How do they manage to do this?  Examples would be fireworks, Christmas trees, ski resorts, summer camps, etc.  You can Google "types of seasonal businesses" to get more ideas and then research one.  A seasonal business is NOT a craft store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby that sells "seasonal" items. 

Write a short paper, one to two paragraphs, about what you learned.  Discuss, in your own words, what you find out about the company and the services or goods provided.  Do not use quotes.  Do not copy and paste the article.  Type your paper and save in the drop box or as a .doc or .txt file and upload.  Be sure to include your name and a title. Be sure to cite your source.   You may not use wiki sites, blogs, texts, or tweets as your source .  Your source must be a credible, reliable source.  Be sure to watch the video about credible and reliable sources below.
