The media’s role in American politics is changing. The way that news is consumed in American society is evolving; new formats and platforms are becoming more popular, while print media is declining. Compare the information provided by the Pew Research Center regarding Newspapers (http://www.journalism.org/fact-sheet/newspapers/ (Links to an external site.)) and Digital News (http://www.journalism.org/fact-sheet/digital-news/ (Links to an external site.)) to reflect on the changing role of media in American politics.

Write a minimum of one paragraph comparing the the consumption of newspapers and digital news based on the information provided by the Pew Research Center.  Reflect on the positive and negative impacts of this shift in media.
