For this discussion, you have 2 videos to watch providing different views on globalization, sweatshops, and the treatment of the workers. The first one is by Leslie T. Chang: The voices of China's workers

https://www.ted.com/talks/leslie_t_chang_the_voices_of_china_s_workers?language=en

The second one is by Auret van Heerden: Making global labor fair

http://www.ted.com/talks/auret_van_heerden_making_global_labor_fair?language=en

Watch these 2 videos:

Answer after analysis of the 2 videos to:  Some of the questions  you can address include, do you think sweatshops are a problem? If so,  what solutions can there be? Would international standards such as  Harrison and Scorse proposes work? Would an outside agency producing reports like FLA (the van Heerden video) work? Or, do you think sweatshops are a step in development that will naturally work out any issues over time as the countries grow and develop? Feel free to raise other issues about sweatshops that you think of.
