International Trade Theories. You currently work at an international company and your new manager knows very little about trade theories. She has asked you to prepare a three to four page report (not including title and reference pages) explaining international trade theories and discussing why it is important for managers in international business to understand these theories. She has asked you to specifically address the theories of mercantilism, absolute advantage, comparative advantage and balance of trade in your report. She also wants you to explain to her how and why the government gets involved in international business and how this might impact your company.

Submit your three to four page paper (not including title and reference pages) to your instructor. Your paper should be formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center, and you should cite two to three scholarly sources in addition to the textbook.
