In Chapter 13, you learned there are different messaging concepts/approaches: Benefits, Fear Appeal, Perceived Threat, Hope, Barriers, Consequences, Action Steps, etc. Find 2 health messages, each using a different approach, and compare the messages. Which message concept/approach is more effective? Did one message/health campaign have a bigger impact than another? Is there evidence that some approaches work better than others? Are some message approaches more appropriate for specific populations or health issues? A possible format for your paper: Introduction to the 2 health concepts/approaches and the 2 health campaigns; Discussion of the health campaigns, their target audience, their messaging format, etc.; Comparison to which health message is more effective and why; Conclusion.

Your paper should be 2-3 pages, 12-point font, double-spaced, and in APA 7th edition format.

You will include the primary NCHEC Area of Responsibility and Competency you are addressing in a separate paragraph and explain how you are addressing each.
