Your Doctor of Nurse Practice Project requires you to address a problem in healthcare or academia.  In the Voice Thread presentation – DNP Project Overview, you had the opportunity to hear about the sections for the DNP Project and the importance of having a viable project idea.  In the second presentation, you received information about defenses geared to expose you to the requirements as you begin to develop the project idea.

In this forum, you will discuss the problem you are going to address in your project starting from a global perspective and then narrowing to the organizational level. If available add statistics to show why the problem needs to be addressed.  You will also explain the intervention you will do to address the problem, and the reliable tool you will use to collect data for the project.  Finish the discussion by explaining how your project will attempt to impact the problem.
