In this forum, you will discuss the problem you are going to address in your project starting from a global perspective and then narrowing to the organizational level. If available add statistics to show why the problem needs to be addressed.  You will also explain the intervention you will do to address the problem, and the reliable tool you will use to collect data for the project.  Finish the discussion by explaining how your project will attempt to impact the problem.

In the Voice Thread presentation – Introduction/Background/PICOT and Variables, you learned about the meaning of PICOT and how the Research Question is created using PICO(T) elements.  In this discussion forum (a) identify the variables that will be in the project; and (b) Post your PICOT elements and research question. Clearly identify each letter of PICOT (as appropriate) and what it stands for in your DNP project.  If the project involves a comparison, be sure to put both aspects that will be compared.

Choose one of the sample literature reviews and provide a critique.  In your discussion posting, identify which sample you are critiquing (1, 2 or 3), what you found that works well in the sample and opportunities for the author to improve on.

DQ2 Using the Example of a Literature Summary Table (Moran textbook page 125), enter at least five articles and the required information for each column – year; author, title, journal; purpose; design; sample; result. After viewing the Voice Thread presentation – Timeline: How to Graduate in 28 months, complete the timeline for your DNP project. The timeline document is located under Course Documents on the course page titled ‘DNP Timeline Resource.’  You will need to choose the one specific to your DNP specialization track. Challenge yourself and place projected dates for each area on the timeline document.  Do not leave any blank areas.  Project and aim towards your graduation date. Attach your timeline to this forum and review the timeline of your peers and provide strategies/methods your peers can use to stay on track with their proposed timeline.

Also, in this forum provide a list with definitions of the operational concepts/terms you have identified in your project.  Remember all terms need to be supported and cited with literature.

In this assignment, you will write a PICO-type practice-based question related to your DNP Project focus.  You will conduct a literature search with key terms from the PICO and complete a Search Strategies Table.  This table should be placed in the appendix of your paper.  In addition, you will build on the information you posted in the discussion forum from Module 1 and begin writing the introduction of your DNP Project paper.  Consult the Rubric for specifics.

In a 3-4 page APA formatted paper provide the statement of the problem and purpose, and significance sections of your DNP project paper.  Remember that the purpose section should include your project design, practice-based question (formerly research question) and project objective/evaluative outcome statements (formerly hypotheses). Note: Review the Voice Thread Presentation – Research and Design for information. Please follow guidelines found in the DNP project template when completing this assignment.

Review the Voice Thread presentation – Theoretical Framework. This assignment requires you to submit a 2-3-page APA formatted paper that discusses the Theoretical Framework that will guide your project. Include an adapted Theoretical Model/Diagram/Figure as an appendix following your references.  Do not copy and paste a diagram. Include the following in the assignment:

Description of the Theoretical Framework

Discussion of the relationship among the concepts in the Theoretical Framework

Discussion of the relationship between the Theoretical Framework and your proposed project concepts

Diagram of the Theoretical Framework with a depiction of the relationship among tenets of the theory and the concepts of your project. Put the diagram as an appendix following your references.

Directions:

Submit a draft of the Review and Summary of Relevant Literature (with minimum of 10 peer reviewed scholarly journal articles) using the information provided in the template and the Rubric for this assignment.  You will also submit the Literature Summary Table you started in Module 6 (in the appendix) with the added articles to show at least 10.  Refer to the resources in this module.

Include your PICO statement in your introduction to the literature review as well as the process, databases used and relevant search terms.

This assignment will be automatically submitted to Turnitin. Remember to incorporate faculty feedback from previous assignments to avoid improper use of quotes.
