Overview

To achieve a successful project experience and outcome, you are expected to develop a paper encompassing the strategic management and planning concepts studied in this course. Please use the grading rubric to create an outline of your assignment. Each section of the rubric should be a section of your final paper and could become the headings. Your assignment will be graded based on each element of the rubric. Compare each section of your paper with the rubric to ensure all elements are covered.  Then, include an introduction and conclusion to tie the paper together. Submit your paper with Title Page in APA format.  A minimum of 3 references are required using APA format and include a reference page.

The introduction should briefly describe the purpose for this paper. Provide a concise description of the healthcare organization’s mission, vision, and current strategy. The introduction should establish a professional tone for the paper.

Summarize the weaknesses identified and potential changes that might be introduced to the organization.

Formulate an initiative/action plan designed to address one of the organization’s gap in healthcare service or process.

Describe initiative.

Briefly explain significance of initiative to healthcare organization.

List two short-term goals in the action plan and discuss the steps needed to achieve each goal.

List two long-term goals in the action plan and discuss the steps needed to achieve each goal.

Identify the QSEN strategies addressed with the proposed initiative/action plan.

Identify the financial feasibility of the proposed initiative/action plan.

Identify a potential performance dashboard that could be used to measure the effectiveness of the proposed initiative/action plan. Include a timeline for implementation.

Summarize the analysis and discuss implications of action plan implementation.

Conclusion and Recommendation - Summarize the analysis and offer a recommendation.

 Paper should be 3-4 pages, not including the title and reference pages.
