Wikis provide students with a forum for more efficient collaboration. For an excellent illustration of the utility and function of wikis, view HYPERLINK http//www.commoncraft.com/video/wikis Wikis in Plain English by Common Craft. Refer to these links for HYPERLINK https//my.snhu.edu/Offices/ITS/IS/resources/Documents/Add_a_Wiki_Page.pdf adding and HYPERLINK https//my.snhu.edu/Offices/ITS/IS/resources/Documents/Edit_a_Wiki_Page.pdf editing a wiki page. While wikis are specifically appropriate for group work, they can also be used in individual artifact(s) creation. In an individual wiki, collaboration happens between the student and the instructor (instead of between group members). The wiki eliminates the need for multiple submissions of unique drafts. In effect, the wiki becomes the workspace where the student practices and perfects the project until the final submission. Requirements of submission When applicable, discipline-appropriate citations must be used. Failure to adhere to these requirements of submission will result in those components not being graded. Instructor Feedback Students can find formative feedback for these assignments in the comments section of their wikis. See next page for rubrics HYPERLINK l _Rubric_for_Individual_1 Individual Wiki and HYPERLINK l _Rubric_for_Group_1 Group Wiki.
