Response-70- word         The way people reflect on the idea of leadership influences how people recognize the leaders in the society. It simply means that a person’s views concerning how people turn out to be leaders impact how people measure one’s leadership ability. This post is about a discussion of differing points on whether leaders are born or made.            Considering that people are born leaders is focused more on merely identifying the right individuals instead of concentrating more on the possible development of a particular person to become a leader. Conversely, considering that people are made into leaders through their past involvements would be more possible to effect in a better concentration on making certain that persons had the actual chances to progress into leaders. People who are born leaders are expected to be more caring of his or her own individual activities and more authority-motivated, while people who are made leaders tend to be more inclined of persuading and other motivated activities (Gentry et al., 2012). However, triumph in being a leader does not actually depend on whether one is a born or made standpoint on leadership, any person can carry on to develop one’s group leadership system power by giving people with interaction and dealings to various developmental involvements.            I was not confident in the past as I am now. Education and exposures to numerous experiences helped me become a leader myself. The past experiences taught me how to enhance myself and those around me. Another great example of this concept is Pope Francis. He is a great leader because of his numerous experiences as an ordinary person towards becoming a priest. His humble involvements with the people as an ordinary priest, an auxiliary bishop, a bishop and being the cardinal of Buenos Aires made him not just the famous leader of the Catholic church but his remarkable impact to compel people around the world even those not of the same faith to embrace humility and kindness  (Rossi, 2015).            The fact remains that not one person certainly knows what are the definite reasons leaders act as they do. There are no precise justifications for determining and selecting a true leader, but only outlines of assured behavioral inclinations displayed by these leaders are recognized through outcomes. Real leaders can arise from every corner and place of societies around the world. There is no fixed model to identify which course or way these so-called leaders are coming from.ReferencesGentry, W. et. al. (2012). So many companies that are being established on a daily basis, find for your dollar, demand the need for an ethical stability. In chapter 14, I got a further understanding of the regulating agency and their need for being, to provide a stable platform on which to do business. Working ethically, it goes without saying, is a more efficient way of doing business. But the fact that everybody will not, or cannot stabilize themselves to that degree, demand for the involvement of the FTC, FCC USPS, and the ATC just to name a few, to provide a level playing field. As I have stated, chapter 14, speaks of after and the agency that will put in place to maintain it. In a perfect world there would be no need for the oversight which they provide. But unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world and hence we are subject to abide under the regulation to make it conducive for everyone doing business.Response-80 wordYou make an interesting point in your post. You said, Ethical behavior and corporate social responsibility can bring significant benefits to a business:. This is so true. Remember the BP oil spill where the pipeline was leaking under the ocean and it went on for months weeks until they could figure out a way to effectively fix it? It was difficult enough for BP to correct this and once again be a decent company in the face of the public after killing off much marine life, water foul, etc., but they managed to come back because they did the ethical thing and they took ownership of the situation. They spent large amounts of money to correct what happened and made good on what they said they would do. Imagine if they had just walked away? They may just have well closed up shop on every corner in the United States. Doing the ethical thing probably saved them as a company.Q-200 wordWatch "Life Lessons from an Ad Man."Response-80 wordThe speaker Rory Sutherland has a very creative way of pointing out how the world is seen from the eyes of an advertising perspective. The goal of advertising is not to create a product, but to create value of that product in the mind of the consumer. Mr. Sutherland points out the importance of perceived value. A product that is introduced to the consumer as a representation of wealth or sacrifice could become highly regarded in the minds of the people who currently do not have it. The product does not necessarily have to be upgraded or changed to get others to recognize the value, it just has to gain a higher level of standing in society. Mr. Sutherland argues that the adding of value to a product by changing perception allows society to appreciate what exists and allows society to spend less time thinking about what we can do and more time on what we already have. Social media is offered up as an example of that point. Social media has allowed members of society to share all news, even the most minuet, with those who care about that person. Sharing accomplishments on a daily basis may make some appreciate their current life more than ever before. One does not have to speak to others in monumental celebrations such as graduations and weddings, they can share the news of what they had accomplished in making breakfast. The video pointed out the intrinsic value that advertising has on sales comes from how the value of that item is changed in the minds of the consumer. Response-80 wordI think she is saying we should be judging off quality not quantity.  I have had some very expensive bottles of wine that to me tasted like crap..I think with liquor like rums yes the more expensive the bottle you tend to get a higher proof and more aged rum etc.  But with Wine it is different.  Anything ive had (which I love wine and we have wine tasting nights with friends from our wine club to try new wines) that is under $75 and above 30$ tends to roughly be the same quality wise.  While I have had some crappy $200 - $300 bottles of wine, it has been proven that the filtration and aromatics tend to be better with the more expensive wines, but sometimes things are just overpriced!  Perception is everything these days! Q-200 wordWatch "Strawberry Frog: Inside an Advertising Agency."Response-80 wordThe staff makeup of the advertising firm Strawberry Fog highlights how the creation of a marketing message must go through various channels to achieve success. Each department within the advertising agency must be open minded and be able to adapt to the task at hand. Creativeness in advertising not only comes from those who actually write the copy, but from those who sell it to the company who's product that they represent and to those who have to decide which media platform in which to share the message to the world. The value of creativeness is not singly held to those who are introducing an idea of how to share the message of the product. The creativity comes from taking that idea and actually making it work. That idea must be sold to the client as the best fit for the message that the client wants to portray. That idea must be shared with the general public with the right message portal in order to hit home with the respective niche market. Even the creation of the team associated with the formation of an idea requires creative thinking as the proper members of the team must be formed to increase the chances of success for the project.  Each hand in the advertising campaign faces many twists and turns from outside forces that require adaptation and forward thinking to bring success to an advertising campaign.Response-80 wordI enjoyed watching the interworking's of the Strawberry Frog advertising agency. This reminded me of an ad agency that I had opened with my young husband many years ago when we were only in our 20's. He and his buddy would take on several of the roles discussed in the video only I didn't understand all the fancy titles back then. One thing I did find really interesting is that when you are the account manager and the designer it can be really beneficial to the client. I say this because in the video the speaker mentioned having to go back to the designer and let them down that the customer sometimes didn't like the design or vice versa. In my experience, many times this was simply due to a miscommunication of some sort and more time with the client was needed to better understand the concept for the design. That was a real plus for us because we were so small and my husband was both meeting with the client gathering the concept information and then he and his designers would come up with the designs. This meant that there was nothing lost in the translation like in other companies where the duties are divided.
