Assignmnet 1Project Requirements DocumentImagine that you have been selected as the Project manager (PM) for a process or product improvement activity or the design of a new product or service in your organization. Your paper should be formatted to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide and should cite at least one scholarly source in addition to the textbook.Assignment 2Based on the Project Requirements Document you created from Week Two, create one detailed project plan in a work breakdown structure (WBS) format that presents at least five major activities and at least three tasks per major activity. This means you will have at least 15 tasks in your project plan. Your detailed WBS should be in tabular format, with all of the following columns:Activity nameNamePercent CompletionStart DateFinish DateResource# Days DurationPrecedent Task    Note: You must include data (real or imaginary) and populate your table. You can use Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word for your project plan. Special note: Your dates and Precedent Tasks need to make sense! For example if task #4 starts on 1/1/10, you need to make sure that a precedent task does not start after 1/1/10.Your diagram needs to be a minimum of one page. The assignment can be submitted in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel for ease of organization.Assignment 2 part 2Using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) created in the Week Three assignment one, create a logical precedence diagramming method (PDM) network diagram. The specifications for the network diagram are as follows:Uses boxes, arrows, and task numbers from your WBS.Illustrates at least one series PDM relationship.Illustrates at least one parallel PDM relationship.Illustrates at least one start-to-start and one finish-to-finish PDM relationship.Your diagram needs to be a minimum of one page. The assignment can be submitted in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel for ease of organization.Assignment 3A Gantt chart is a powerful data analysis/project schedule control tool. Create a Gantt chart using at least the five major activities in the sequence you identified in Week Three, assignment one. Prepare a written summary of your results and conclusions to executive management that incorporates a copy of your Gantt chart. Submit a one- to two-page paper (not including title and reference pages). Your paper should be formatted according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide and should cite at least one reference in addition to the textbook.  Assignment 4Market StructureFor your Final Paper, you are to write about the Six Sigma process improvement model used by most Six Sigma organizations: DMAIC – for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. Specifically, your paper should answer the following questions and include the completed tasks: Describe the Six Sigma process.Explain each of the five steps of a Six Sigma project.Identify an organization that has successfully utilized the Six Sigma process and explain the purpose of the project, the outcome of the project, and the major accomplishments or milestones associated with each of the five steps.Describe a past or present project that implemented the Six Sigma process.Discuss at least two new techniques, tools, or methods you learned in doing this research that you think could have been applied to a past or present project.Your paper will need to include a title page, a reference page, and in-text citations properly formatted according to the APA style guide. Also, your content should be eight to ten pages, which does not include your reference or title page. You will need to include at least five scholarly sources from the Ashford Library in your paper as part of your research to support your analysis.Writing the Final PaperThe Final Paper:Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages (not including the title and reference pages) in length and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the approved APA style guide. Must include a cover page that includes:Title of paperStudent's nameCourse name and numberInstructor's nameDate submittedMust begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.Must use at least five scholarly sources, including a minimum of two from the Ashford University Library.Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
