Responding to human rights violations is a complex undertaking. Deciding factors, such as foreign policy, fiscal limitations, and human rights policies influence whether a response to human rights violations will occur. There are numerous ways to respond to human rights violations. Depending on the violation, response may come from international, national, or local community resources. Sometimes a joint effort is needed to appropriately respond to a violation.
