Week 3 - Model for Evaluating your Speeches

Week 3 - Model for Evaluating your Speeches
Now that you have completed your first speech, construct your own model of criticism for a speech. Consider what you're looking for in a great speech: what do you want to see, hear, or feel. What do you NOT want to see, hear, or feel? How should the speaker look, act, and/or sound?
In 1-2 paragraphs, describe your model of criticism. Include at least 5 attributes that are required and three attributes that make a speech less than desirable. Once you have developed this model, in 1-2 paragraphs, identify how your introductory speech did on the model; what components were done well and what components need improvement. Minimum 150 words.
Respond to one classmate (perhaps the one that is after you alphabetically- you can find a list under Classlist at the top of the Brightspace homepage). Watch their intro speech and give them your feedback based on their model. Identify how your model and theirs are similar and different.
