2. Click on Case law.
3. Type in your topic.
4. Click on the search button.
Review the results and focus on a legal case that treats the topic and interests you.

Please think about your own experiences disciplining and/or discharging employees. Or, think about your own discipline/discharge experiences with you as the employee, or stories about employee discipline and/or discharge from your friends or relatives.

Once you settle on an experience, describe it to your colleagues. Discuss what you think went right in the experience. What went wrong? Consider it from the HR/Organization perspective, the employee and the supervisor perspective. How could the processes have been improved?

Once you have watched the video and read the article, consider the merit of the VW argument that a union should represent all the workers at a production facility before the company should be expected to work with the union. Do your own research to see whether or not VW’s argument at their Chattanooga plant is consistent with VW’s approach to unions elsewhere in the world, including at their plants in Germany. Be sure to provide citations for any sources.
