What factors would you select that will allow you to determine which disease the community should be most concerned about? So, you should be looking at rates and number of cases. Look at: http://www.cdc.gov/injury/wisqars/pdf/10LCID_All_Deaths_By_Age_Group_2010-a.pdf for an idea of how cases are grouped by age and type of injuries and diseases.
