Case Assignment

The Case Assignment requires that you write a 5-8 page critique of a research article that you have chosen in Module 1 or in Module 2. A critique is a detailed analysis - not a recap or summary the article you have chosen. This critique is to incorporate the topics we have covered thus far. You must cite at least 3-4 resources from the Touro library to support your arguments in the research critique.

Topics to consider include:

a) Briefly describe the purpose of the research study

b) Identify and explain the Independent and Dependent Variable(s) used in the research study you have identified (Module 1)

c) Identify and explain the strengths and limitations of the sample of participants used in this research study (Module 3)

d) Identify all the possible internal and external threats to validity from the research study you have identified (Module 4)

e) Compare and contrast the research findings from the research study you have identified with at least 2 other research articles on the same or similar keyword(s).

The paper is to be double-spaced using a 12 point font using the APA (American Psychological Association) formatting style. Include a cover page and a reference page. It is recommended that you attempt to format the paper. It is to be submitted as a Word document and uploaded as a document to the Assignment area.
